Guide to the Dorian City of Lato, Crete, Greece

The Agora

The Agora is an open space which is essentially marked out by the Portico to its West, Exedra and early wall beyond to the South, an early terraced wall to the East and the steps up to the Prytaneion to the North. According to Ducrey and Picard the oldest parts of the Eastern terrace walls may date back to the 7th centruy BC.
