Guide to the Dorian City of Lato, Crete, Greece

Exedra

The Exedra (meaning stand, dais or low platform) is a rectangular levelled floor (created with small, irregular stones) to the South of the Agora. It has two steps formed from stone blocks running around three of its sides. Backing into part of the South wall it faces the Sanctuary with a single shallow step leading down.
